About me
Hello, I'm Tamara Reyes Mondaca, a social worker with over five years of experience designing and managing social programs for children and families. I hold a Diploma in Participatory Methodologies for Research and Program Design with Children and Adolescents (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) and am a certified facilitator in the Triple P - Positive Parenting program (University of Queensland, Australia).
I have supported more than 2,000 families through workshops, seminars, and programs that translate evidence into clear, accessible, and effective strategies for everyday parenting.
My approach is based on the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, an international model with more than 20 years of research and intervention in different countries, which has proven its effectiveness and robustness in strengthening parenting skills and children's well-being.
I'm currently in Turkey, volunteering at an ecological and holistic center surrounded by nature, which integrates a farm, yoga spaces, music, and community activities. We facilitate workshops for children and families based on play, music, animal care, planting, and crafts, promoting emotional connection and screen-free experiences. This experience reinforces my conviction that education and parenting flourish when we return to the basics and create safe spaces for growth together.
Umbela Crece is an educational space open to the entire community, because parenting is not an individual task, but a shared social responsibility. As a society, we must strengthen healthy and safe environments for children. A supportive childhood is the seed of a more just, safe, and conscious future.
